Courier National is a multi-service company that is poised to provide marketing and virtual assistant service to people living outside of Haiti.
Eventually, Courier National is working on providing premium mailing solution in Haiti.

We have worked for over 10 years to develop HabiTek’s erector-set like do-it-yourself pre-engineered steel bolt together framing system. We hope to introduce our building technology to Haiti soon. HabiTek’s modular steel framing system is very well suited to rebuilding many of Haiti’s structures safely: homes, schools, clinics and retail. HabiTek’s post-and-beam interchangeable components can be readily adapted to the unique aspects of Haiti’s social, cultural and natural environments.

PDT affects change through three primary project areas: Economic Recovery, Research and the development of Operational Innovations. It was founded in 2004, and since that time, has worked in more than 12 countries around the world. The organization is headquartered in New York City and Ottawa and has field offices in Afghanistan, Haiti and Timor-Leste.

The Haiti Building Markets Portal is part of the Peace Dividend Marketplace Haiti (PDM-H) project, which was launched in Port-au-Prince in August of 2009. Its objective is to help create jobs and inspire long-term economic growth and stability in Haiti by encouraging the international community to use locally available goods and services to carry out their project work.

In Haiti, many growing small businesses exist outside the formal sector. Accelerator Business (HBA) will work with promising entrepreneurs to provide them with the knowledge and, in some cases, the seed capital necessary for success. The program, over two cycles [three (3) calendar years] , will affect thousands of entrepreneurs around the competition MEMA and the accelerator business. Of thousands of entrepreneurs will select the HBA 750 contractors are best suited for success; They will receive basic business training. It will then provide 60 of these companies a monitoring program that will provide advanced services in business management.

Julie Colombino with REBUILD Globally to assist those most affected in Port-au-Prince with gainful employment opportunities. Rather than fostering an environment of entitlement, RG uses discarded tires found on the streets of Haiti and repurposes them into handmade, recycled tire sandals. By using new and innovative techniques that promote recycling, eco-friendly development, and education RG is able, at present, to gainfully employ 8 local artisans in Tabbare and helps.
